Get to exploring Venice right away as soon as you land! Depending on when that is, just make sure you grab a bite and soak up the sun. You can do some DIY exploring. Stroll to the gorgeous Grand Canal or climb one of over 300 bridges that the city has, the opportunities are endless.
Free time option: Embark on a street food tour. Eat your way around Venice whilst getting views of the historical monuments and attractions along the way. this 2.5 hours tour also includes a visit to Rialto Market where you can be amazed at the colourful fruit and vegetable stalls.
Your first day in Venice will be spent doing some serious exploring! You will start with a 3-hour guided tour of St. Mark’s Basilica and the Doge’s Palace.
You’ll start at St. Mark’s Square before then heading into the cathedral. Next, you’ll stop at the Doge’s Palace. Here you will learn more about Venic’es history and see former the residence of the leader of the Republic of Venice. As you venture through the city you will cross the infamous Bridge of Sighs.
Once the tour ends, you will have a break and some time to explore on your own.
Later in the afternoon you’ll join a walking tour of Venice. On this your, you will admire the city’s most unmissable attractions such as the Clock-Tower and Procuratie Vecchiea. You will also stroll across Rialto Bridge. Learn interesting facts as you walk along the charming streets.
Today is equally as jam-packed! You will be visiting 3 of Venice’s islands — Murano, Torcello, and Burano. You will start either at St. Mark’s Basilica or Santa Lucia Train Station and travel by boat to the islands.
Murano is the first stop of the islands. Here you will have the chance to witness a glassblowing demonstration at an artisanal workshop. Your free time here can be spent at the Basilica of Santa Maria and San Donato.
Torcello is the next island. Most famous for it’s Cathedral of Santa Maria Dell’Assunta which was built in 639, you will set your eyes on some of the best panoramic views from the Cathedral’s bell tower.
Burano is the last island that you will cruise to. The multi-colored houses here are certified instagram-worthy. Also make sure to try “Bussolà” cookies – they are a tasty local delicacy.
Later on in the evening, you will take a train from Verona to Padua. The journey time is approximately 45 minutes.
Today you will experience Padua on a hop-on hop-off bus tour. This is a great way to really explore Padua thoroughly as you can create your own itinerary by getting off and on the bus as many times as you like.
Visit Padua’s most famous attractions such as the Basilica of St. Anthony, University of Padua or even Piazza delle Erbe.
Later in the day, you will leave Padua and take a train to Verona. The journey is just under 55 minutes!

Verona welcomes you! After waking up to the surreal atmosphere here, you will spend the day viewing Verona’s highlights.

Then head to Go to Casa di Giulietta and choose whether you’d like to pin a love letter to the wall. Verona gets more and more beautiful as you continue to discover it.

Today you can explore more of the city of Verona with a Verona Card. The card which is valid for 24 or 48 hours gives you free or reduced entrance to dozens of the finest museums and monuments in the city.
Enjoy panoramic views from the top of Torre dei Lamberti, wonder at the beauty of Basilica di San Zeno Maggiore or view the artworks and artefacts at Museo Archeologico al Teatro Romano. The possibilities are endless.

Your penultimate day in Verona will be spent on half-day tour to Lake Garda.
You will first pass through the countryside to reach Sirmione. The elegant resort town boasts a beautiful medieval village. Here you will be offered great views of the lake. The intricate history of Sirmione will be unraveled as you navigate through its narrow cobbled streets.
At Sirmione, you have the option to enjoy a Lake Garda tour by boat.
Later on in the day, you will enjoy a wine tasting. Whilst relishing the breathtaking view of Verona, you will indulge in 5 organic local wines – Terra Gialla, Valpolicella, Valpolicella Superiore, Valpolicella Ripasso Superiore and Amarone.
