Day 1Arrive in Oslo

Once you arrive in Oslo you’ll have time to get settled in and depending on when your flight arrives you may want to book some optional extra activities (at an additional cost.)

One popular option is the Kon-Tiki Museum, a fasting place dedicated to the ancient explorations of Norwegian explorer Thor Heyerdahl, who has been the subject of an Oscar-winning documentary.

You’ll find fascinating displays including the original wood raft that Heyerdahl used to sail from Peru to Polynesia in 1947. The Kon-Tiki Museum is the perfect place to learn more about one of Norway’s most famous historical figures.

Day 2City tour and fjords cruise

You’ll spend your first full day in Oslo exploring the city on a guided tour that includes a visit to the world-famous Vigeland Sculpture Park, the Fran Museums, and the Norwegian Folk Museum as well as the incredible Olympic Holmenkollen Ski Jump.

After the city tour comes the relaxing fjord cruise on the Oslofjord. The scenic sightseeing cruise takes you past rolling hills and picturesque cabins and summer houses nestled by the shoreline.

Day 3Travel to Stockholm

Today you’ll explore even more of Oslo’s highlights on a hop-on hop-off bus tour that takes you around the city. Some of the highlights will include the Royal Palace, the Oslo City Hall, the Parliament building, and the Oslo Opera House.

Later in the day, you’ll catch a train to the colorful city of Stockholm where you can spend the evening relaxing and exploring the city by yourself.

Day 4 City walking tours and Viking museum

You’ll start the day with a walking tour where you’ll learn all about Stockholm’s history, including the historical Old Town and the city’s unique blend of architectural influences and styles.

Next, you’ll enjoy a trip to the famous Viking Museum where history has been brought to life in a fun and interactive way. From old artifacts to miniature sets and adventure rides, this museum is anything but boring.

You’ll end the day with another walking tour, this time a ghost-themed tour of Stockholm’s oldest and creepiest sites.

Day 5Bus, boat and museum tours

You’ll start the day with a combined bus and boat hop-on hop-off tour that takes you around some of Stockholm’s top tourist attractions. You’ll also learn more about the city’s culture with interesting onboard commentaries.

After that, you have two museums to visit, Vasa Museum and Skansen Museum. Vasa Museum is a maritime museum full of incredible exhibitions and displays including a fully restored 17th-century ship that sank on her maiden voyage. Skansen Museum is an open museum and zoo that is full of life-sized recreations of ancient Swedish homes and landscapes.

Day 6 Travel to Copenhagen

Today you’ll catch a train from Stockholm to the port city of Copenhagen, and upon arrival, you’ll immediately start exploring the city on a hop-on hop-off bus tour that will show all the highlights and historical buildings.

Next, you’ll see even more of the city from a different perspective on the Copenhagen canal cruise. This popular sightseeing cruise is not only informative but also a great opportunity to sit back and relax while watching the beautiful scenery pass by.

Day 7City highlights tour

You’ll spend the last full day of your holiday on a day trip exploring some of the most interesting and historical places around Copenhagen.

You’ll start with Denmark’s old capital, Roskilde, where you’ll find ancient buildings including the historical UNESCO-listed Cathedral that serves as the burial site for many famous Danish monarchs.

Later you’ll visit two of Denmark’s castles, Fredericksburg which is known for its grand, imposing structure, and Kronberg which sits on the banks of the Sund River bordering Denmark and Sweden.
