Once you’ve arrived in Marrakech, you’ll have plenty of time to get settled in and explore the city at your leisure. Your holiday in Morocco will officially start with an exhilarating trip to the incredible Atlas Mountains. Your day tour will include a visit to the town of Tahanaout which is famous for its argan oil production, the historic town of Imlil, and the beautiful hamlets of Ait Mizan, Targa, and Imoula.
Upon arriving at your final destination of the Moulay Brahim Gorges, you’ll end your day on a high note as you enjoy a traditional camel ride through this beautiful scenery.
Today you’ll step out of bustling Marrakech and take a trip to the beautiful coastal town of Essaouira. Famous for its historic port and medina, Essaouira is a delightful place to visit with colorful buildings, ancient heritage, and wonderfully fresh seafood.
Enjoy a classic Moroccan lunch set against the majestic background of the Atlantic Ocean and peruse the selection of souvenirs that can be found at the local souks.
Today you’ll leave Marrakech and venture cross country to the famous city of Fes. Known as Morocco’s cultural capital, Fes is home to a beautiful historic walled medina as well as religious schools dating back to the 14th century.
Fez also holds the special status of being the oldest city in Morocco, having been founded in 789 AD. You can enjoy the day exploring and visiting the top attractions this unique city has to offer.
While Fes boasts of being the oldest city in Morocco, Chefchaouen is undoubtedly the most iconic. The city is instantly recognizable due to its striking blue-washed architecture that creates a wonderfully tranquil atmosphere, making the whole city feel like an extension of the ocean it rests next to.
There’s no shortage of places to explore here and you’ll also find plenty of gorgeous traditional restaurants where you can try some of the most popular local cuisine and seafood.
Today you’ll get to visit the amazing former Imperial city of Meknes as well as the historic ruins of Volubilis. The Volubilis ruins, which will be your first destination, are of Roman origin and are now over two thousand years old, carrying an incredible amount of history in their crumbling walls.
From Volubilis you’ll move onto the city of Meknes which was founded in the 11th century as a military settlement. Here you’ll explore the beautiful medina, the local shops and cafes and the renowned Museum of Moroccan Art.
Before you leave Fes, you’ll enjoy a guided walking tour of the medina and famous spots around the centre. Your guide will give you an overview of the city’s history and cultural significance throughout the tour.
Once you’ve said goodbye to Fes, you’ll take a First Class train to one of Morocco’s most well known cities, Casablanca. Made famous by the 1942s classic Casablanca, this port city is full of beautiful architecture, stunning scenery and endless tourist attractions.
Today you’ll explore more of Casablanca as well as the nearby city of Rabat. Highlights from the guided tour include the famous Rick’s Cafe, the stunning Hassan II Mosque and the 14th century fortress of Kasbeth which is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

On the last full day of your holiday, you’ll visit somewhere that might just be the most beautiful place in Morocco, Ouzoud Waterfall. This incredible site consists of torrents of water pouring over the edge of the cliff in terraced fountains that shine with a spectrum of rainbow light when the sun appears.
Not only is the Ouzoud Waterfall a spectacular place for holiday photos, you can also enjoy a boat ride beneath the waterfall and a swim in the surprising tranquil pool of water that sits at the base.
Today is the final day of your holiday. You’ll leave Marrakech by plane with plenty of stories and photos to share when you get home.
