Ahoj! You are most welcome to the wonderful city of Prague.
The ancient city will have you feeling like you have walked through a time capsule. There are many well-preserved castles, and Gothic cathedrals to explore. As soon as you land, you will be greeted with the city’s lively atmosphere, so get out there and explore!
Free time option: Choose to spend 3-hours experiencing a medieval show that accompanies a 3 or 5-course medieval dinner with unlimited drinks. See swordsmen, jugglers, and belly dancers, all performing to music. Alternatively, you can also discover Prague by night on a luxurious open-top boat, whilst you as you feast on a delicious selection of traditional Czech and international dishes from the onboard buffet.
You will start off today by touring Prague. You will visit some of Prague’s most fascinating monuments and neighborhoods. Start at the Old Town and journey past landmarks such as the Dancing House, Wenceslas Square, and the National Gallery. You’ll then have a 75-minute walking tour of Prague Castle.
Next you will enjoy a 60-minute river cruise along the Vltava River. Revel in the views of the city and the Charles Bridge. Finally, you will take a walking tour around the Jewish Quarter, and head to Old Town Square and the Astronomical Clock.
Later in the day, you will be making your way to the dock at Čech Bridge to board your boat to the Devil’s Channel. See how the channel divides Malá Strana from Kampa Island and explore more of the mysterious Devil’s Channel up close.
This morning you will be leaving Prague and travelling to Vienna by train. The journey is 4 hours, 27 minutes so prepare to take a nap!
Once in Vienna, you will visit the Kunsthistorisches Museum where you can see imperial masterpieces by Rubens, Velázquez, Titian and so many more. You will also view the treasures of the House of Habsburg in the Imperial Treasury. You are sure to be dazzled by sparkling jewels and the largest cut emerald in the world.
Free time option: You can do more explorations of Vienna by visiting The Museum of Illusions. You will discover over 70 exhibition pieces, and unpack some mind-boggling puzzles.
Today you will embark on a day trip from Vienna to Wachau, Danube Valleys and Melk Abbey.
Your tour will start at Wachau Valley. The designated UNESCO World Heritage Site has much food and wine to explore.
As you continue to journey through Danube River, you will marvel at the picturesque villages and steep vineyards. Your boat trip along Danube will take you to the heart of the Wachau, the wine-growing region is at the old city of Krems.
On your tour, you will have the chance to visit to the Benedictine Abbey of Melk. Take in one of Austria’s most famous Baroque buildings.
Today you will visit the Schönbrunn Palace and Gardens. You will learn more about the history of the royal compound and receive a modern audio device so that you will always be able to hear the tour’s live narration along the way. You’ll walk through the 22 magnificent staterooms of the famous Austrian palace. After touring the castles interior, you will have the opportunity to walk around the gardens.
Later in the day, you will discover the imperial sites of Vienna with a hop-on hop-off sightseeing bus. There are several routes to explore which range from the city center out to the Schönbrunn Palace and the Belvedere.
You will also enjoy a guided City Walk, where you can discover Vienna’s beautiful buildings.
Your evening will be just as magical! You’ll enjoy a Classical Concert by a string quartet of musicians who perform in renowned Viennese orchestras. There are works by Mozart, Haydn, Beethoven, Schubert included in the programs.
Free time option: Spend some time at the Kunst Haus Wien. Museum Hundertwasser. The museum houses a permanent Hundertwasser exhibition over two floors.
After all the amazing time you have spent in Vienna, you will be travelling to Budapest today. You will get on a train from Vienna to Budapest which takes 2 hours and 39 minutes.
Whenever you arrive to Budapest, you will experience the Széchenyi Bath. This is the largest thermal spring bath complex in Europe. You will have some relaxation time at the bath.
Afterward, you will visit a hidden gem to taste some Hungarian Palinkas. Palinka is spirit made exclusively from different sorts of fruits and has an aromatic smell.
Today you will sightsee around Budapest. You will have a 3-hour walking tour of the twin cities of Buda and Pest discover their local culture. On the tour you will see sights such as Saint Stephen’s Basilica, Elizabeth Square, Matthias Church, and Buda Castle.
Later on, you will have a 1-hour boat cruise through downtown Budapest. You will start at the pier of Budapest’s Szent István Park, where you will get a welcome beverage of a seasonal cocktail or soft drink. As you cruise down the River Danube, you will pass many monuments such as the National Parliament, Buda Castle and the Várkert Bazár.
