Our Berlin tour allows you to experience this beautiful city to the fullest in just under a week.
From the famous Berlin Wall to the city’s lively nightlife, get ready for a holiday full of cultural exploration, beautiful scenery, and, of course, delicious food.
Our bespoke itinerary allows you to personalize your trip according to your interests, all while ensuring you’ll have plenty of time to spend in each location.
Depending on when your flight gets in, you may have a good part of the day left when you arrive in Berlin. During this free time before your tour officially begins, we suggest you take the opportunity to explore the neighborhood and discover Berlin’s wonderful selection of cafes, restaurants, and bars.
One of our top recommendations for that much-needed drink after a long journey is the Berlin Icebar (additional extra), a nautical-themed bar made from kilos of ice.
You’ll start the day with the City Highlights Walking Tour which is a guided tour, taking you through Berlin’s famous streets where you’ll see the city’s most iconic buildings and monuments, including the Berlin Wall, Museum Island, the Brandenburg Gate, and many more historical sites.
Once you’ve explored Berlin on foot, you’re ready for the Sightseeing Cruise. This boat trip not only gives your feet a break, but it also allows you to see the city’s landmarks from a whole new perspective.
Simply sit back and relax as you learn more interesting facts about Berlin’s history and culture while enjoying the beautiful scenery all around you on this open-topped river boat.
After you’ve learned about the city’s history and seen its famous landmarks, you’ll finish the day at the Berlin TV Tower Tour. The incredible 360-degree view from the top of the tower is spectacular, so be sure to bring a camera.
If seeing the city from above appeals to you, but you’d rather have something more adventurous, then you can swap the TV Tower Tour for an amazing Hot Air Balloon experience! The Berlin World Hot Air Balloon hovers 150 meters over the city, securely tied down so you don’t have to worry about it flying off anywhere, and offers incredible views and photo opportunities.
After such an action-packed itinerary the day before, day 3 of your trip is all about relaxation and slowly exploring the nearby city of Potsdam.
Potsdam is considered one of the most beautiful cities in Germany and for good reason. Here the urban and the natural collide, as the city lies nestled among vast lakes and lush forests.
One of Potsdam’s most popular attractions is its many castles, including the Sanssouci Palace which once served as the summer home of the King of Prussia, Frederick the Great, and Babelsberg Palace, a stunning Neo-Gothic structure from the 1830s.
Try some authentic local cuisine while you’re here, and stroll around the city’s many beautiful gardens and palaces at your own pace.
Depending on when your plane leaves, you may again have some free time on your hands. If you have hours to while away at the airport, why not explore more of Berlin instead?
For art lovers, we recommend taking some time to visit the wonderful Berlin Neue Nationalgalerie which houses stunning paintings and portraits from the 20th century. Learn more about Classical Modernism, and see Berlin’s often turbulent history reflected in breathtaking artworks.
History buffs may enjoy a visit to Berlin DDR Museum, which is advertised as creating ‘history you can touch’ through a wide variety of reconstructed sets that show what daily life was like for ordinary people under the communist regime. You’ll also find an entire exhibition dedicated to the East German version of Rock and Roll, Lipsi.
