Currey in 1915 and housed world war I rose hybrids in 1917. The garden has been open since 1918. Operation for over a century, the garden offers stunning views overlooking Mount Hood and downtown. The garden attracts many visitors annually. If you walk uphill you will come across the Japanese Garden.

He came to Portland to work for the Oregonian newspaper. Later, Henry Pittock became the owner of the newspaper. The mansion measures 16,000 square feet. The mansion boasts an impressive 23 rooms, including a library, Turkish smoking room, and music room. The mansion is located on a 1,000-foot peak of the West Hills.
