The Blue Lagoon is a beautiful spot on Malta’s smallest inhabited island of Comino.
The ideal place to go for a swim, a hike, or even just explore and do some incredible photography. This is one of the most picturesque places in all of Malta and it’s clear to see why. The island of Comino is also home to plenty of other beautiful sights to see if you find the lagoon itself to be a little crowded for you.
One of the most beautiful natural places in all of Europe, the Blue Lagoon is a must visit for anyone who values seeing the wonders nature has to offer.
While here you can swim in the crystal clear waters, climb around the cliffs or even explore the rest of the island. The entire island of Comino is well worth a visit on your trip to Malta but the Blue Lagoon is a clear stand out.
After exploring the Blue Lagoon you may want to relax by exploring the rest of Comino island or the close, smaller island Cominotto. Both islands feature plenty of places to admire, both above and below the water.
We particularly recommend finding a spot for some diving and snorkelling as that is really what the waters of the Blue Lagoon are suited to.
How to get there?
Whether it be a ferry, a cruise or a bus, the Blue Lagoon is easy to get to from anywhere in Malta.
The easiest way is to take a bus to the Cirkewwa Ferry Terminal where you can then buy your ticket to sail over to Comino.
