The Barton Springs Outdoor Municipal Pool should be at the top of your list if you’re visiting Austin in the summer. The Barton Springs Pool is a large outdoor pool that is filled with water from the natural springs nearby. 

The water here is remarkably clear and refreshing and the views of trees and lush green grass on either side really give it an edge over typical indoor pools. If you love swimming and being outdoors, this is the place for you. 

Lady Bird Lake

Blanton Museum of Art

The Jack S. Blanton Museum of Art is actually part of Texas University and is one of the largest art museums in America. The museum is made up of a selection of temporary exhibitions, permanent collection galleries, storage facilities, classrooms, a print study room, an auditorium, a shop, and a cafe.

The museum charges a small fee – between $5 to $12 – and there’s plenty to explore inside so you can easily spend half a day there. 

The Driskill Hotel

Circuit of the Americas Racetrack
