You’ll start the day with a walking tour of Malaga, which gives you the chance to explore the city’s most iconic attractions.

In the afternoon you’ll have some free time to explore. Look at some free time options below.

When the sun goes down, you will be able to enjoy an authentic live Flamenco show. This is located in the city center and takes place from 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM. C

Free time option: Museum hopping. Discover the works of Pablo Picasso at the Picasso Museum which houses an extensive collection of his artworks. If you get tired of Picasso, why not venture to the striking multicoloured glass cube at the Center Pompidou. Whilst there, view the array of modern art work as by major artists such as Miró, Bacon, Magritte and Frida Khalo. 

If you are more into cars, there’s a museum just for you! Museo Automovilistico features an extraordinary private collection of around 90 classic cars.

This morning we are journeying from Malaga to Granada. The bus from Malaga to Granada is about a 2-hour journey (journey times will always vary depending on traffic conditions along the route).

At 7pm you will visit some of the most emblematic quarters of Granada with a guided tour. Whilst the sun sets, you will pass through Albaicín, (Granada’s old Muslim Quarter). Spiral through the labyrinthine streets and discover the fascinating world of Al-Andalus.

The Sacromonte Quarter, is next on the itinerary. It contains more than 3,000 caves and panoramic views from hidden areas. Make sure to snap some stunning photos to show your friends and family.

Today you’ll be seeing the Alhambra. Embark on a journey through history and admire the fortress, the Generalife Gardens, and the palace complex in all their splendor. This is the only remaining fortified complex of the Islamic period in Spain. the Tour lasts for 3-4 hours, so you will have plenty of time to marvel at the mix of Moorish and Christian architecture. 

Later that day, you will take a train from Granada to Cordoba. The train journey is about 1.5 hours.

Free time option: If you are not yet tired from basking in the splendour of the Alhambra, head over to Caldereria Nueva street. There you can have your pick of the many colourful Moroccan style tea houses that serve delicious tea.

The day will start with a trip to Cordoba’s Mosque-Cathedral. This is one of the most visited monuments in Spain, and the second-largest mosque in the world. The guided tour lasts for 2.5-hours and gives you an opportunity to explore the Mosque in-depth. 

After the Mosque-Cathedral, you will then tour the city’s historic Jewish Quarter. The Synagogue, the Jewish Street, and the Arabic market (Zoco) are some of the most visited areas in Cordoba. 

There will be an opportunity for a break after this tour ends.

When you are re-energised, you will then visit Viana Palace. The Museum of Courtyards comprises 12 courtyards which all have different architectural styles, and 5 centuries of history. You are able to also walk round the beautiful gardens, and get some fresh air.

In the morning you will board a train from Cordoba to Seville. This takes approximately 1.5 hours, so you will have a wealth of time to explore Seville.

At 1pm, you will then prepare to be amazed as you tour Seville’s Alcazar, Cathedral and Giralda. You will first meet your guide in Plaza del Triunfo and head to the Alcazar of Seville. The guided tour gives you an opportunity to discover the Patio de las Doncellas and grand Ambassadors’ Salón, which were both featured in Game of Thrones.

The Cathedral of Seville is the next stop. You will witness the late Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque influences in the grand architecture.  

The last stop is the Giralda Tower. Make sure you climb the stairs for some completely spectacular views of Seville from the top of the tower.

Free time option: Why not try some Andalusian tapas as you experience La Cantaora, the only Flamenco show in Seville that focuses on the purity and roots of gypsy flamenco.

Today you are off on an exciting day trip. You will be driving through the Sevillian countryside to reach Pueblos Blancos and Ronda, before arriving at the towns though, you will visit the Castle of Las Aguzaderas.

Pueblos Blancos is the first town that you will visit. As you continue through the mountains, you will stop at the picturesque white village of Zahara de la Sierra – get your camera’s ready! You will then enjoy a nice meal, surrounded by the picturesque white houses adorned with colorful flowers.

After lunch you will head to Ronda – one of the oldest towns in Spain. It is built on two separate cliffs and is connected by Spain’s most famous bridge – New Bridge, which was built in the 18th century. The tour guide will show you around Ronda, but  you will have some free time to explore the town on your own as well.

After an exceptional week exploring the cities in Andalusia, it’s time to say hasta luego to the sunshine and head back home.
